Alot of actors/actresses use PR tactics when promoting their movies. It gives them publicity and promotes their movies and we get gossip😆

Who do you think has the best PR, the stories, gossip etc

Do you think anyone is doing more harm to their image by using such tactics? Or is it all as the saying goes - all publicity is good publicity

Some examples:

Aishwarya - Her previous tiffs with other actresses/Salman Khan/Her previous acting roles/Age/Pregnancy

Salman Khan - Court cases/Family news/Katrina/Aishwarya

Katrina - Her background/Salman/Ranbir

Ranbir - His Surname/Being a Playa/New GF's

Priyanka - Plastic Surgery/Shahid/Other link-ups/Competition with Kareena

Imran - His status with Avantika/relationship with co-stars (as friends not link up lol)

Sonam - Fashion/Shopping/Books

Kangana - Plastic Surgery

Deepika - Ranbir/Her relationship status/Past BF's

Shahid - Kareena/Priyanka/Vidya/Is he dating his current co-star

Arrey how did you forget Kareena- Saifu and me are totally in love, saifu is the bestest actor, I'm the bestest actress, other heroines will give a leg, arm, to do the roles I do. We love each other so much, he is the perfect boy friend, we eat tiramisu together....

In my opinion kareen has the best PR team who are capable of producing a news story every time she sneezes.

She is followed closely by Katrina who have hyped her as the next best thing after sliced bread, so much that some people actually believe it.

most of the actors/actresses who are always in the news have excellent PR... and well, any publicity is good publicity...! 😉

and you forgot...

Katrina - the movies she is not doing anymore...

Deepika - the movies she keeps taking up after Katrina rejects them...! 😆

i'll have to think of others and get back on this one...!

Completely agree with you. I thought I was the only one who made that observation. I remember the news about kareena's tatoo on Saif's arm.............WHAT A JOKE...........It was nothing but PR. If you rate how much these actress or actors gained through their scandals, i think kareena-saif would take the cake. Who talked about Saif before kareena? "Her" PR team turns no opportunity away to create a news about them.

I think she has had a really strong PR team from the very beginning. I remember her koffee with karan interviews where he said that you haven't given alot of hits but you have managed to stay at the top. And her answer was "well i have always believed in my talent." She is the ultimate example of LUCK + good PR = bollywood success. There are many actors in bollywood who have talent but they aren't making the big bucks.

And it's funny how these actors always keep changing their statement to suit themselves. In the same koffee with karan episode, she said that I did roles like chameli, omkara, etc while the other actresses were just looking good in a big movie with big actors. And what exactly was her role in Golmaal 2??? When asked about that, she said "well commercial success is important."😆 When you are looking good in a big movie with no role, then it's okay but if other actresses do it, then they aren't as good as her..............ahhh the height of superiority complex.

Back to the topic, I think for bollywood actors........ANY publicity is good publicity. As long as people are seeing or hearing about them every day, they'll be considered "hot property." Afterall, jo dikhta hai woh bikta hai.
