Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan on Tuesday prayed at Mumbai's Siddhivinayak temple for the good health of Amitabh Bachchan .
Amitabh is presently admitted in Lilavati hospital where he is recovering from diverticulitis of small intestine, for which he underwent a surgery on November 30.
Around that time, a source in the Bachchan family was quoted as saying that Abhishek and mom Jaya had decided to visit the temple at Dadar to pray. The Bachchans are devotees of Siddhivinayak Ganesh.
In fact, just a few months back, the entire family, Amitabh, Jaya and Abhi, had walked the long distance of 15 kms to pray at the temple.
Now, early morning on Tuesday, December 13, Abhi and Jaya Bachchan made that journey to Prabhadevi's Siddhivinayak Temple to thank the lord for the recovery of the superstar and to pray for this good health in future.
It seems that their prayers have been answered as doctors at the Lilavati hospital today indicated that Bachchan might be discharged in a day or two.
The superstar, however, will have to rest at home and follow certain dietary restrictions for a few days, doctors said.
