Deepika better than Priyanka?

There is talk of Deepika Padukone replacing Priyanka Chopra in the upcoming adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel 'Two States'

Siddharth Anand's Two States based on Chetan Bhagat's novel has just been announced. And the grapevine says there is already a fall out.

It is reported that the film that was announced with Saif Ali Khan (playing a Punjabi) and Priyanka Chopra (playing a South Indian). Now an insider says, "Even before the movie goes on set, there is news that producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Siddharth feel that Deepika Padukone is a better choice for the role of a South Indian than Priyanka is.

"Since everything is very tentative right now, none of the principal star cast nor the the makers wish to go on record. But it may well happen that the Love Aaj Kal pair of Saif and Deepika may return in this contemporary take of Ek Dujje Ke Liye.

I actually did imagine Deepika as Ananya while reading the book. But, the best would be not turning it into a movie at all. The book sucked.

It's probably because of the bad acting PC did in AA that made him choose Deepika over her! 😆 Good choice Sid!

hah now thats an amusing thought considering DP isnt a good actress. But hey, im not complaining.. This could be a blessing for PC. I mean who wants to do a Sid movie anyway.

lol agree! At least Priyanka has shown she CAN indeed act in many films! Deepika hasn't that much! lol But yeah Sid isn't that great of a director! maybe PC shouldn't do it!

Like ppl have been saying acting is a matter of opinion! I sometimes think Deepika is a good actress! Actually sometimes, i don't even know why ppl say she is horrible at acting because she is not! Vishal didn't offer her a film for no reason! Vishal's characters are very complex and only good actors can pull off his characters! And he believed in Deepika! That says a lot! Maybe Deepika won't be as bad as PC was in AA 😆
