^ to the comment above i'm not a katrina hater and Raajneeti was not a flop at all, in fact its common sense that its one of the most successful movies to come out in 2010. I merely made a point that i didn't really enjoy it thaaat much and i didnt find it groundbreaking . I also didn't find Katrina's acting to be incredible or moving, she has certainly improved from her initial acting abilities though and did look a lot like sonia gandhi.

It was definitely a good movie, had tons of flaws but it was definitely one of the better ones to come out this year. I loved Ajay in the movie, he was plain brilliant! Arjun was really good and so was Ranbir. Katrina was such a blah in the movie, seriously I expected her role to be meaty but it wasnt and her acting was really nothing special. Please don't label me as a Katrina hater, I love how she looks and carries herself but she's an EPIC fail in the acting department, I still like her personality though 😊

well i actually liked the movie, there was no one doodh ka dhula in this film, all grey shades, i love nana patekar, ajay, monoj and biru the most

Err...I fell asleep watching this movie and I actually like Bollywood. I guess the Oscars jury will get a chance to have a 3-hour nap.

If anything should be going to the Oscars, it should be movies like Udaan. How about we try giving these amazing, non-commercial movies a chance and let them be the face of Bollywood? Maybe then the world would actually start recognizing Bollywood for good cinema. Not to mention, our film industry might be encouraged to get out of the clique mindset of casting star kids in every other film and actresses who can't speak Hindi but get applauded for speaking 10 dialogues without an accent.

well the entry for oscars is for once, justified...i enjoyed peepli live a lot! The most unfair oscar entry has to be (Jeans *ing aishwarya rai)...i really enjoyed the movie when i was 7, but comeon...the OSCARS? what were they thinking...

maybe they take some seemingly undeserving screenplays into the archives coz they wanna show film school students "how not to make a screenplay" or "101 mistakes of a screenplay writer" or something like tht...😆

I think instead of PL, Udaan should've been India's entry to Oscars. And I'm pretty sure if Amir wasn't behind PL...they would've selected Udaan.

Yeah loveddd it!! Such a beautifully made and acted movie. I haven't watched PL fully...it couldn't keep my interest. So I feel if PL doesn't make it to the final cut, this time the blame should be on whoever made this decision!
