it happens between actors given their proximity- what matters is that amitabh put aside his very strong feelings and went back to his family. Period. Actors arent robots and as long as they put the family first, i think even the wives give them that much leeway if they dont get serious - they arent made of stone. we cant judge and it doesnt make them 'bad' people- just human

I agree to an extent that they aren'r robots but there are 3 parties involved here. Yes, he may have done the right thing by going back to his family but there was Rekha too and she was left high and dry. She was affected too, yes she made the mistake of falling in love with a married man but the fact is, he got involved too.

as much as i agree that he more than deserves it Jaya doesn't..it's bad enough 4 a woman to live with that knowledge every day without having it thrown up in her face all over again after all these years..same can be said to the kids except that they r grown up n have their own lives now..

@tina59 - and about that 'Rekha got hurt'..i'll say if one gets involved with a married man 'KNOWINGLY' specially when he has kids too u should pay for ur sins cz it is an unforgivable sin to break a marriage n a family IMO:(

so jaya is the only person i feel sad abt in this..

I have always wondered as to why Jaya still stayed with Amitji after all that. She was the daughter of an ace journo, did rebellious cinema in her time, was far bigger star than Amit Shrivastav when they first met. She had such a great career filled with commercial and great critically acclaimed work, why did she bow down like this?? There have been many women in bollywood who have left their cheating husbands... a recent example that comes to mind is Aamir's ex Reena who was the first one to walk out of the relationship! But I don't know why Jaya stayed! There are two reactions in this scenareo when you find out that your partner who is a public figure cheated on you or messed up, either some women stick with them, or others just bail out on them. But, its strange to think why would any strong woman stick with the man after all this humiliation.
