Sonam -I can't comment on people's perception abou - Page 3

LOL this turned into a discussion about Abhay-Sonam dating in real life and how Sonam isn't "intellectual" enough for him?? haha....I honestly don't care about that.....I like them as a pair on-screen and I'd like to see them together in more movies together....they have great on-screen chemistry....there's an unconventional spark to them....not the typical "let's pair two good looking ppl together and oooh hawtness" type of chemistry that most ppl seem to find in pairs randomly these days *rolls eyes*.....they have a different spark....their contrasting personalities are part of that....and they're good friends which only helps their chemistry and makes for adorable interviews....and I'm happy enough with that :-)

As for Abhay and Sonam.....hmmm.....I don't think they have contrasting personalities....I actually think they are quite similar.....unconventional, bohemian and somewhat rebelious....brutally straightforward at times....what works on/off screen, I feel, is Abhay's maturity and calm temperament....Sonam is still very childish and is always at the edge of her seat....so that works big time. But I think the way they approach their life and career (from what I have read of them) they seem quite similar....which I think also helps.

Good points....what I meant by contrasting personalities was that Abhay is much more mature and calm while Sonam is more childish as you pointed out....but you've got a valid point about how their are strangely similar in some ways....unconventional and straightforward and rebellious in their own ways....maybe it's the age difference....as Abhay himself has mentioned he sees a younger version of himself in Sonam in some ways😆

Basically they seem to be two ppl who outwardly do seem very different.....her the fashionista and him the simple, kinda rebellious guy more associated with independent films....but they've found some common ground on certain personality traits which has helped their friendship and hence the on-screen chemistry.

Btw if I may....since I am a big fan of Sonam I would like to take this opportunity to say what kind of a boy I would like for Sonam since this has turned into a discussion about dating hehehehehe.....

I prefer someone like Imran...ha ha....coz I like him 😆 I love the way he rags her.....and is so honest about her....her dressing sense irritates him... he sees her and wants to be mean to her.... he think she is a nakhrewali.....that is just sooooo right for Sonam....someone needs to do that to her to bring her back to earth someone needs to tell her that she is not so adorable as she thinks she is (or her crazy fangirls would like to think) that she does irritate people u know....her sister does that i think! so ya a guy like her sister who can yell at her from time to time but also adores her for the very same reasons 😆 someone who won't be judgmental about her ways. but will love her for who she is but will also reprimand her.... with a little sense of humor.

It's up to Abhay and Sonam if they wanna date in real life or not !! I said I would LIKE if they get together , but if they don't it doesn't mean that I'm gonna send them endless tweets like "you guys get together or else.." or hold them at gun point !!! 🤣

I agree you can't say if they're gonna date by just looking at the onscreen chemistry , a whole lot of other things come into play.

My major point was that I want to see them in more movies together because I LOVE THE CHEMISTRY !!! I have honestly not liked any other Bolly couple the way I like them , they just fit together so well - like Daraa said in the other topic - they are the yin and yang !! My other point was that I would like Sonam to do the kind of movies Abhay does (off beat and meaningful) because I feel only that way , she can fully explore her potential !!!

That is all !! once again it is up to Abhay and Sona if they wanna get together or not !!! I am not being an 'Aisha' to them !! 🤣
