I agree its not fair to compare Kajol and SRK jodi with Imran and Sonam. Their chemistry is no where near Kajol and SRK in IHLS. I have seen the film. I have seen the film and their chemistry wasn't that great it was okay. The only parts their chem was good was in songs.

Film was average...I was disappointed I expected it be better than this. And I thought Imran-Sonam chemistry will be a hit. But for me it wasn't. I think Imran and Sonam had better chemistry in their interviews and photoshoots than in the film.

The best part about the film was Imran. He makes you laugh in a lot of scenes. I loved him. He was cute and hot. He's acting was very natural and he suited the part.

Soman-I love Sonam for her sense of fashion. But I have to say her acting was below average in IHLS. She just looks pretty in the film thatz it. And she lacks screen presence. She should learn a few things from Imran. There was no part in the film where she makes u go WOW she can act.

I give it 3 out 5 stars.

Imran has a really bright future. He is so charming.

😆 yeh kuch zayada nahin ho gaya ? first of all if half of thew ppl liked their chemistry then Half did Not find any chemistry between them and even if their chemistry worked in the movie that doent mean it is equal to SRK-Kajol chemistry, there r loads of TV couples who have much better chemistry than Sonam-Imran ....... if it is so easy to create SRK-Kajol magic then for me it means SRK-Kajol Chemistry is just an ordinary, no special magic abt their jodi 😕 ... ke har koi SRK-Kajol ban jaata hai after one movie 😕

No, no, a THOUSAND times NO!....Kindly get your eyes tested, Ms. Sukanya Verma....if the magic of SRK-Kajol could so easily be recreated then every lallu-panju can be called the next 'SRK-Kajol'

I'm a Sonam fan but I'm not delusional about her acting skills at this point....Imran is cute but he too has a LONG way to go as an actor....as for chemistry, if ppl are actually even still CONSIDERING calling I-S the next SRK-Kads....all they need to do is watch even one random Baazigar song with all it's tacky costumes, tacky 90s dancing songs etc. etc. also, SRK-Kajol just LIGHT up the screen....they have a very rare kind of natural spontaneity with each other that I'm sorry I-S don't even begin to match up to in my eyes and honestly no contemporary pair even CAN at this point.....

I LOVED IT :| This is the type of film I needed so badly. I had disconnected with Bollywood for a long time because my type of films were far and few. Growing up in the 90s and going gaga over the mushy romantic comedies played a huge part in my obsession for Hindi movies. I hadn't felt that mush in years but I got it with this film! Its NOT perfect by any means but it was perfect to get that putty feeling inside me when I just want the 2 main leads to be together <3 It dragged in some places, the first half was almost perfect even though not much was happening storywise, 2nd half dragged a bit but I didn't have much of a problem with that to be honest.

IMRAN: Was really good!! He should stick to this type of genre because his performance turns out really honest in the chocolate boy roles. I have to mention his lean body...! My sister and I were ogling at it All in all, a really NICE performance and I think it tops Jaane Tu for me because he was more raw in that movie. In this film he enacted the role more effortlessly! Apart from that one senti scene which I think mostly everyone has commented on

SONAM: STUNNING! Seriously GORGEOUS in every damn frame she was shown in. To be honest, if I had to connect to the film, I would have to connect to Simran and I did BIG TIME! Thanks to Sonam for getting those expressions bang on target, there was so much warmth to them. Her eyes are just so pretty and she conveyed the girl in love so beautifully! If I wanted J-Simran together it was most probably because as a girl, I connected to her and just wanted things to work out. No-one else will understand this but I really needed to see a character like Simran and performance like Sonam's..... so I FRIKKIN LOVED HER!


CHEMISTRY: I'm surprised to see some people not seeing it :| They were so good together. They just FIT so perfectly with each other. They didn't need try to create anything, it was just THERE! Man they looked hot in 'Sadka'

SONGS: My pick would be; 'Jab Mila Tu' So enjoyable to watch, J-Simran interactions were too cute inc. the intercuts, 'Bahara' Such a girls song so why wouldn't I love it? The visuals were so so so beautiful and that one trolley shot with Sonam in the centre of the sets has been etched in my mind for some reason and 'Sadka'....Do I need to say why? It was one of the most beautifully picturised songs in a long time and I just loved the chemistry in this song <3.

SIDEYS: LOVED THEM ALLLLLLLL! From Giselle, Kunal, Veer,.....to Gabbar! Everyone was great!


I have no major complaints from the film because its just what I needed right now from Bollywood. I think it was a really sweet tribute to HINDI LOVE STORIES which were the biggest reason for my love for Bollywood. THIS is my type of film even if isn't perfect but....who wants perfect?

About the SRKajol comparsion...LOL CHILL! 🤣 Whenever a pair is hit they are compared to these 2 because they are right up there but lets not forget that their pairing became HUGE after their 3rd film. It was DDLJ, KKHH and K3G which put them on this pedestal not Karan Arjun and Baazigar :)

So don't take every comparision to them so seriously! Imran and Sonam are fresh. How about we just leave them! :)
