Three in a row By MIO Team Dec 01, 2005, 09:54 |
Though all the three films have been in news since some time and also the promotional measures have caught the eyes, one cannot be too hopeful of these three films to strike gold at the box office. However this doesn't mean that the films will lack cinematic glory. 'Apaharan' is a presentation of the facts and the ongoing crises that the law is facing in regard to the kidnapping nexus. The film is a stark representation made on a serious note. As it is a social relevant issue, the one interested will surely make their way to the theatres, will be lapped up by critic and will also run well in single screen but we can't say the same in regard to the family audience. The fate of the film will also be a crucial point for Ajay Devgan who is going through a low phase of his career. 'Home Delivery' is one more lighthearted comedy film all set to make its mark. This film is sure to be lapped up by the multiplex audience. Good reviews and positive word of mouth can work wonder for the film. After Sujoy Ghosh's 'Jhankaar Beats' grossing some good reviews at the box office, people may well be optimistic about this film too.
The second Friday of the month is all lined up with biggies. In that case it might be a challenge for this film to stand tall at the box office if they can't click in the first week! |
