Agreed 100%. The aversion towards Kat on these forums is relentless and intense. There is collective mourning whenever any new movie is announced with Kat as the lead, group hugs when she removes herself from a movie and continuous carping and quibbling about her luck and undeserved fame. I personally find her beauty to be luminous and breath-taking.. when she is on the screen it is hard to take my eyes off her, inspite of her terrible acting and speech. And, about these lists for beautiful actors. There is one coming out every week.. evryone gets a chance to be on the top of the list. One week it is Deepika, the next week kareena and so on.

IMO Katrina isnt the only one to get the flack.Considering the type of responses Kareena or even Aishwarya gets I think its on the same level. It comes with the fact that she is a top rated bollywood star. She is at the top right now and she will continue to get this kind of attention.The day she is considered passe in Bollywood all this hate will stop I cringe when I read the names Kareena gets called, her relationship with Saif is fair target for anything. Aishwarya used to get bashed a lot sometime ago but now I guess she is considered "old" and not much of a threat to their favorites. I know some people feel only Kat is targetted but the same folks go all out against other actresses. The self righteousness of these folks crack me up.

If someone thinks karisma's preitter, my mom thinks the opposite. My mom thinsk bebo's gorgeous, while lolo is "pheeki". My dad feels Lolo is beautiful while kareena's ok.

If Bipasha wins it, someone will have some other complaints, oh she doesnt look the same withotu makeup.

Either way, no one will be happy.

Kareena is a beautiful girl by a lot of people's standards. Not everyone, ofcourse you cant make eveyrone happy, but a lot of people seem to think so. Her endorsements, the feedback to her in general, what ppl around her say, points towards a general opinion that she IS a pretty girl.

So she won ONE contest in ONE particular year. Accept it, embrace it, move on. 😉

Not sure if it really is directed towards me because I was the one commenting on her face structure...but re your last line....lol. I'm not on a standstill, to have to move on.
