BLOL (big LOL) at "innocent senseless husband" - you just made my early sunday morning LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

And yes I was making a general assumption.....

In my professional environment - the men who try to seduce me are usually married or taken and VERY RARELY single...Lara is in her late 20's....In India - men are generally married at that age or engaged or involved...and yes you don't decide who you love - it just happens...

Ok it's not "right" considering moral standards - you can resist but at one point you can give in too...anyone wants to have a portion of happiness in their lives...

I guess actresses who date taken guys have some advantages to do so : they're free - they can see the guys when they finish the shooting or whatever they have to do cause regular guys won't tolerate long absences...-they enjoy priviledged moments (I assume those guys are usually wealthy) : holidays, gifts, 5 stars hotels, thrilled & exciting love life....at least the time it lasts...

At poppy : you know no matter the beauty of a woman --- her husband may cheat on her with an uglier girl..it's not the point - the point is --- when a guy is used to a girl - he wants some change...ok it's written in their genes....lol It's really sth which has to do with the clock biology...of course there are exceptions...

I was not putting the blame on the women while asking the question. If at all its the man who is more responsible as he is married and is committed to some one.

let me rephrase my question. Loads of bollywood actress seem to go for married men, why? What do they see in them? They are good looking, indepoendent, smart and economically settled. Whats the need?

i resent calling someone an "aunty wife" ....... as if that justifies cheating on her ..... then what about "uncle husbands" - should their wives go around cheating on them ...... its not only women - men too let themselves go after marriage ... just because your partner may no longer look as attractive as when you married, is that a valid reason to cheat ?

Though not a great actress, Lara always seemed to come across as a very intelligent and dignified woman .... not liking her much at this point .... and mahesh, the ess said the better ...

...... i seem to have a rather simplistic view of this all - want to sleep around ? get a divorce and then do what you want .... or better still, if your eyes are capable of straying every two minutes - don't get married at all .....

...... no matter how much you think that that your wife is not sexy anymore/ she doesn't understand you/ she is a b***ch/ she is not your soulmate etc etc etc ....... nothing justifies infidelity .... don't humiliate the other person by cheating on them

Relationships isn't a science and HAVE nothing to do with logics and good feelings...life's not Disney channel - unfortunately...

I'm not justifying cheating, I only explained some reasons of it...if that makes me someone who justifies it - then it's your pov and I respect it....

Experience & maturity are two necessary elements to understand that NOTHING lasts forever and love is as permanent as peace on earth....

Take it or leave it....accept it or watch DDLJ and believe it's the truth of love....perfect love is a myth....

Getting a divorce isn't an easy step and generally it's done cause the wife can't take it a,y longer - sometimes guys are just too coward to do so..cause they like having an "aunty" at home to take care of the home and a hottie putside to take care of their well being and personal development *rollseyes*

An attempt to create utopia? Nah, perfection and idealism- totally unreasonable. Why wish for something which is untenable in the first place? Sigh, we can't make a difference. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever. We gotta live with it, It will continue to happen. That is the politics of life.

Men are pigs and women are bimbos. Seriously, its a pity....someone as refined and beautiful as Svetha Jaishankar gets cheated on, what are the odds for us mere mortals. Sadly, men (I'll generalize here) get bored after a certain point in a monogamous relationship and look for greener pastures. They won't care if they have a combo of mother teresa-Aishswarya rai sitting at home waiting for them when they hit that point. Where are men like Paul Newman or Sashi Kapoor these days ???? Oh thats right the mould has changed. Sadly, we live in the times of instant gratification and relationships like any other thing fall prey.
