Salman actually had a very, very successful run after his debut movie! It was Aamir Khan who had a spate of flops after QSQT, till Dil came and catapulted him in the top again!
Salman's first flop after Maine Pyar Kiya released was a movie called, Love...before that he gave umpteen hits, starting from MPK, followed by Baagi, Patthar Ke Phool, Saajan, Sanam Bewafa and Kurbaan!
After that, came a string of flops like Love, Suryavanshi, Jagruti, Ek Ladka Ek Ladki, Nischay, Chandramukhi ect!
Then again, his career rised with Andaz Apna Apna, Karan Arjun and HAHK! Salman has starred in some of the biggest hits of Bollywood including Maine Pyar Kiya, HAHK and Karan Arjun!
Aamir's progress has been slow but steady...initially he had so many flops after QSQT, but post Raja Hindustani, he began to choose his films carefully and then he has only been giving super-hits! Aamir is actually in a different league altogether!
On another note, Imran showed a lot of promise with JTYJN, but his film choices after that have been very poor! Hope his forthcoming releases do well, cause he is a natural actor just like Aamir and can do very well, with a good script and role!
Shahid is a decent actor, but quite over-hyped, in my opinon! But labelling him as a has-been is a bit too much! He might not have given huge hits, but he is very popular with the audience for sure!
Deepika has just started her career and already acted with some of the top actors, even if her films have not done well commerically! Can't say how good an actor she can become, but she does have that special star quality which should see her doing well in future!
Rani had a short but super-successful run, with both commercially and critically acclaimed films! Preity is so cute to look at, but as an actor, she has never really left an impact, despite working with the top actors and productions houses!

Same goes for Govinda, who has done well only in comedies and multi-starrers! Though, I remember when I was a kid, Govinda used to be super-star and we were all die-hard fans of his! But he somehow concentrated only on the David Dhawan brand of comedies and despite his talent, never really used it to do varied roles!
And Sushmita? Got to be joking! Her only crowning glory moment was when she won the Miss Universe Crown! Except for Main Hoon Na, she doesn't have a single film worth talking about!
Abhishek once again is a solid actor, but just doesn't have star power in him! He cannot carry a film single-handedly on his shoulders! Its more than a decade that he has been in Bollywood and he hasn't given a single, solo hit!
Sanjay Dutt did well in his time! For god sake, the guy is 50 now and every one cannot be an Amitabh Bacchan to be popular and do well even late into their sixties! Sanjay has given a lot of hits when he was younger and was rather popular once upon a time!
