I was wondering why Amitabh was not there since IFA is his baby.

And conveniently Ash and Abhi are promoting Ravana.

Its because all the people they had problems with in the past were there and they did not want to make it seem like it is only them there year after year.

So who shows up when they did not, Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan,Vivek,Kareena.

I have noticed none of these stars show up when the bachans are there except maybe Vivek.

I dont think it had anything to do with promoting Ravana or anything else. It was all political so IFAA can have other stars besides the Bachans. PS: they could have promoted Ravana there too.

Prior commitments is just an excuse. Next year they will show up again with srk and gang.

hmmm don't know about that. Kareena attended IFFA when she won for JWM.

That's not true. Because Aish presented an award to anil kapoor last year.

And I remember one year where aish was sitting down while salman was performing on stage

this maybe the reason.. but that is not the full truth.. there have been instances where salman was present and so were the bachans.. it is like salman said raavan and robot are releasing and they do not want panga with the south india releases... however i also feel that this is very unethical because bachans are the ambasaddor for IIFA, so they should come no matter what the issue is,

it is not the enimity, it is the upcoming movie releases that stopped the bachans and other stars

i do feel the same for the rajneeti people, as they could of have their first screening there but they did not ,... once again same issue with the south indian cinema releases

ok so I was wrong 😊

but still at least "a" bachan should have attended after all they are the brand ambassadors. They have time for other stuff aka Cannes and other stuff. They could have made time for this. Its not like they do not know about it. They are the brand ambassadors so they should have made time in their busy schedules for it like they did for Cannes which they know also the dates.

I still think it is all political.

Abhishek said in an i'view yesterday during raavan promotions that all of them were busy with their professional commitments and if they would have attended IIFA ,it would have caused problems for their producers.

So the anchor was saying that "AB should come up w/ atleast better reasons.And how come they had time since 10 years to attend IIFA"

Why can't the Bacchans be frank and just say that they don't want to jeopardize their forthcoming release? And that is why they decided to skip IIFA!

Abhishek appeared so silly in the interview where he is giving random excuses on behalf of his family for not being able to attend IIFA!

Being honest for a change would actually make them appear so much more likeable!

yah and the bahu had time for some silly french occation just not something that means a lot to the baachans... its high time that politics of bachans are brought into view
