Ranbir Kapoor recently tried experimenting with his looks for Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar. To finalise the avatar that he will sport in the film ? that of a rock star ? the dashing actor even did a photo session recently.
Our source said, "Ranbir is gung-ho about Rockstar and had personally made efforts on the style he should sport in the film. He had detailed discussions about it with Imtiaz."
After several trials and errors, he zeroed in on three different looks for the photo session. "Ranbir experimented mainly with his hair. He tried a look with his hair short, one with not-so-short hair and he even wore his hair at shoulder length to see it if worked for him," we are told.
Ranbir and Imtiaz finally decided that his character will sport shoulder length hair as rock stars are often seen sporting long hair while performing live on stage. Imitiaz felt that Ranbir could carry this look very well and looks like a real rock star.
