Recently, at the on-going 63rd Cannes Film Festival, the brightest star of bollywood, Aishwarya, was invited at the Vanity Fair Gucci pavilion, which was held in honor of the great director.
As the two greats from the west and the East sat and discussed about Indian films, reportedly, Martin Scorcese was very charmed by our very own Aishwarya.
Thus, he did make his wish to work with her some time in the future clear to the starry-eyed Ash. Even though Ash has worked in quite a few International projects before, this is the first time that such a big opportunity might just land up in her kitty!
Now with this kind of an adulation and recognition coming her way, Ash would be on cloud nine, but think of all those gals who would have to be in her shoes! That number would surely be overwhelming.

| For Indians, Cannes Film Festival has a lot to do with the pristine beauty Aishwarya Rai. Now the French press has even started calling her the 'Princess of Cannes.' And this time the beauty has found another admirer in Hollywood. It's filmmaker Martin Scorsese who is reportedly seen showering attention on her at the French Riviera. As Scorsese is busy restoring the old classics of world cinema, he had a screening of his latest work, the Italian film II Gattapardo, for selected people and Ash was among the audiences. The director also wants to restore the Indian classic Kalpana by Uday Shankar and is learnt to have discussed the idea with Ash. Reports even reveal that for a special Cannes dinner in honour of Scorsese, Ash is a special invitee. And the director is also keen to work with her. As a source tells a daily, Scorsese has admired Aishwarya's work from the time he saw her in Devdas." The next time Ash goes Hollywood it could be for Scorsese. |
