i hardly read any deepika interviews and i use to read her tweets but they are quite boring. I would had missed her quote till this post. be it sonam or any actress which deepika referring to, i just find it silly and rude. but i am so happy sonam is what she is. at least she doesn't look sleep or tired.

You know, there are two ways to logically interpret that: either she's calling whoever that actress was fat or she is implying that Imran doesn't have enough upper body strength. Neither implication makes her a "bitch" - really now, let's lay off the female specific pejoratives.

To be honest, if Deepika is talking about Sonam, I really don't see why Sonam's fans should act so outraged. After all, it isn't like Sonam hasn't made a few derogatory remarks about others yet that was lauded and claimed to be good humor so why should this (if it is as implied a remark aimed at Sonam) be considered any different?

Amen. Sonam's said a lotta things about a lotta people too. What's the big hoopla?

And anyway, I didn't even understand what people were getting so worked up over, lol. I thought she was teasing Imran and how he couldn't lift a girl.

um as far as I can remember Sonam actually DEFENDED deepika when shoba de commented on deepika's looks. it's sad how deepika is making a comment on someone's weight/body here especially if its Sonam, which it most likely is.

And you2 - the joke is defn not on Imran bc Deepika stated Imran is strong. So she is clearly making fun of the girl he had to carry.

^Agree, i don't remember where sonam insulted or made fun of any actress and i still remember how our silly sonam defended deepika toward shoba de comment. Infact it was sonam who said deepika isn't average looking but beautiful. It's surprising how many here forgotten. I don't remember where sonam made fun of someone.

If you recall that, you should also recall how she defended Deepika - as if anyone needs to be defended from an opposing opinion like its a gun to the head or w.e. Implying Shoba De was senile isn't exactly a pleasant remark and yet, people were okay with Sonam demeaning her. It doesn't take a genius to deduce that making derogatory remarks about others was considered to be okay if Sonam did it. Then there's the whole illogical-aunty business that I'd rather not get into.

So all the big deal on twitter about Imran making a valiant effort to lift Deepika and the Q&A was ....actually a slight about Sonam's weight LOL

Like I said she actually lifted the guy who dropped poor Sona
