Kites movie review: The latest flick by Hrithik Roshan soars high not only in Indian skies but in US and UK too. The film is among the top ten US releases soaring comfortably at number ten with Kites box office collection of over 1 million dollars in juts 3 days. Not only did average film goer like the film but it became critics' favorite also with the most number of reviews written about the film. The trilingual film is released by Reliance Big Pictures and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The Kites movie has opened at number 5 slot in the UK box office. Kites rating has been between average and very good so far. Overall its a must watch movie.
Kites story, plot and Kites star cast: Kites, the movie promises to be a fresh and welcoming change after a sad number of flops the Indian film industry recently had. With Hrithik in the lead what else can we expect? It is probably the best film received at the box office after 3 Idiots and there are a number of reasons for the same. First and foremost the star cast, yes Hrithik is no doubt a crowd magnet with audience waiting for his new releases all the time and this time it is like double treat with the star paired opposite a Mexican stunner Barbara Mori. She has everything, the oomph, drop dead gorgeous looks and an amazing charm quite refreshing for the audience. The movie is a mix of three languages with Hrithik speaking mostly Hindi and English and Barbara speaking Spanish.
In Kites music and song, Kites has one more surprise package with Hrithik as a singer. The actor has sung the title song of Kites, so that way he makes his debut as a singer with Kites. The film has an international appeal not only because of the star cast but because of the fact that it has been released in over 60 countries in over 2300 screens world wide. Another reason that makes Kites, a must watch is director Anurag Basu's stupendous work as a director in giving his best to make an ordinary love story look just too extraordinary. The film has everything from bank robbery, amazing locales and beautiful cinematography right from shooting the Mexican desert to casino in Las Vegas.
Kites release in overseas market: Kites will be released for American audiences in an edited version which will be shorter in length will less of songs and dance and more of action and car crashes. This version will be called, Kites: The Remix and will be edited by Brett Ratner. It seems Bret Ratner has all the praise for actor Hrithik Roshan, as he said, "He (Hrithik) came to see my version of the movie, flew in from India…….he got immersed in the story. He's a great actor. I think he can work in American movies."
In post release review, Kites movie rated as a must watch which has everything from action, car crash, love, passion, romance, beautiful lead actors and a fresh new appeal.
