Paa - TZP..bull BEEP stories.....to make people get emotional ...but does that make indians more tolerant towards "different people"...mmm
back to the topic..everyone likes winning awards...it's human...
Ajay doesn't come but his wife does take his awards on his behalf...mmm wierd...
when she's away from BW -- she doesn't give a beep about attending the award functions unless she promotes herself...
yes it's hypocritical -- but she or the other BW actors never claimed to be genuine and perfect...
you do have a point, but TZP is better than Heyy Baby any day, but that's my personal view!
You right, everyone loves to win and loves the spotlight, but the year you don't win it's rigged. I remember watching an interview where Vikram Bhatt is likr awards are rigged and javed akhtar replies and says that when you win they're the best and when you don't its rigged. So there's a little hypocrisy and jealous and some insecurities.
But bottomline, you can't win them all and have to accept both sides of the outcome! I mean look at Peter O'Toole who has been nominaed 11 times for an Oscar an still hasn't won it once. Never heard him say it's rigged. And there have been years where popular actresses have won and deserving actresses like Konkona, Tabu, Nandita have lost and don't see them trashing awards.
But another thing I've noticed it that if people are in this art for the love of the craft then they don't really care about awards. They're very chilled and if they win great and if not try harder next time. But I feel that fame-hungry people just need spotlight and praises all the time and you can't do anything about those people!
