If Shahid gets a good director, he does well, otherwise, he is strictly an average actor!

I think he'll do good in Mausam. After all, it is Pankaj Kapoor at the helm.

Well said aladinji.

He really needs a good director to get the best out of him. His best performances and all his hit movies(except his debut movie) until now are with good directors like Sooraj Barjatya, Imtiaz Ali, Vishal Bhardwaj and Aziz Mirza.

So hopefully we will see some good movies in the near future.

hmm he just needs to select scripts carefully since he is a good actor and only the movie as a whole works at B.O not just mere acting

i find him an actor from i watched Vivah. I have hopes for Badmaash company and Mausam. Looks interesting. There are actors out there who are giving flops but still in the business.

As a fan of Shahid, I feel he should make wiser decisions now.

His career was at a great high after Kaminey. I think he should have signed films that would showcase his talent. CPD, Paatshala are all films that will flop and not benefit him.

Also, I am not too sure about Badmash Company. I could just see it being a flop. Every actor likes to work with a big banner film, but I don't think Shahid should sign every film he gets from Yash Raj. Look at Rani, she's been doing all Yash Raj films, and where is she at right now? No where. Shahid should sign films where he has meaty roles and a storyline that will blow away the audience.

Shahid has had a taste of bad films and flops in the past. Now that he has gotten a second chance, he should make his choices wisely!

I think Masaum will be the one for Shahid- His next JWM or Vivah or Kaminey- where he has a strong character and hopefully a good storyline. After all it is a Pankaj Kapur film.

Badmaash Company- not to sure about the outcome for this film. But it does look like a nice YRF release then it's recent ones.

I was a huge fan of shahid from his first movie, I thought him and amrita were made for each other. And then I loved them in Vivaah. It would've been even better if Shahid was with amrita again in his dad's movie
