Bipasha plays an imaginary character in director Sudipto Chattopadhyay's film. Perhaps she will be the Muse of her, Maradona Rebello. In this look, Bips looks like Cat Woman. Though the picture does not show it, she looks like she's all dressed to play tough lover with leather and whip! |

In a white saree, Bipasha looks like something she hasn't played in a long time, if ever, an angel. Usually ready to shed it, she's positively virginal in this serene look. The movie is being directed by Sanjay Gupta. "Rocky has made the designs keeping all my characters in the mind," says Bipasha. |

Director Sudipto says he has done special research on Bipasha's characters. "It was not easy to think of nine different avatars," he says. In this look, Bips sports a short and impish look. We don't think it suits her because her body and face are more given to being sultry and obvious rather than prim. |

This 'look' shows the limits of what is achievable and doesn't seem to be much of a look at all. Bipasha says about the movie that "It is about a boy who goes through gender confusion. He is a child artiste but plays a female child artiste and is very popular. Then he grows up and wants to be launched as a hero but there is a kind of confusion in his mind." Hmmmm. |

This is the classic Bips in a 'magazine cover' look. Her plunging neckline looks good (though she's 30 now and possibly reaching the end of her bold-look years). Producer Sanjay Gupta says his movie is "a wild ride through the underbelly of the film industry. Bipasha plays an alter ego, a fantasy and we wanted her to look like the two divas ? Sophia Loren and Liza Minelli from 'Cabaret'." This one is definitely Sophia Loren. |

Bipasha isn't young enough to have facial tattoos and should leave this sort of thing to kids like Genelia etc. But this is the compulsion of having to generate too many different personas. "I have played everything from sexy woman to innocent woman. A wild lady to a serious one all depends on the mood of the male lead," says Bipasha. |

This one seems to be a dream-sequence variant of No 5, with ghostly lighting filling in for mood and ambience. "Rocky is one of my favorite designers and knows me well. He knows what I will look stunning in and which clothes will suit me," says Bipasha. |

Bips looks unconvincing in the tattoos and we hope this isn't the dominant look of the movie. But it's not her fault. "All my characters depend upon Maradona's imagination," says Bipasha. |

This is more the sort of thing Bipasha should be doing. A louder variant of a classic look. The film also features Mahesh Manjrekar, Lillette Dubey, Ronit Roy, Sanjeeda Sheikh and newcomer Amit Purohit. It is being released on April 2. |
