Sure you are allowed to have your opinion but firstly what's your opinion? That she thinks she's lucky for Aamir and that she thinks the movie would not have worked without her?? Well for your kind info she never claimed so. She said she thinks Karisma and her are KIND OF lucky for him and he IS lucky for them meaning they are lucky for each other so nowhere does it translate to "The movie worked only because of me" as you claimed so sorry I don't think it's an opinion but an attempt to bash her by saying things she never meant and I hope you do understand the difference between KIND OF LUCKY and IS LUCKY.

but yeah saying that 3Idiots & Raja Hindustani were hits because they were good movies with great performances which masses loved and that there is no lucky thing in it is what I call an opinion which I totally respect.

See, if it was Kajol saying that she and SRK are lucky for each other, I would have understood the deal - after all, the audiences love their pairing, and them starring on a movie is enough to drag the audiences to the halls and make the movie an instant hit (MNIK being a good example).

I can understand what you are trying to say here and I think you are right to an extent but I can also kind of understand what she meant 😃
If she outrightly said that she is lucky for Aamir then you would not find me wasting my time defending her here 😛

But I think it's true. I am a huge Aamir fan and I can see it....Raja Hindustani was Aamir's first huge commercial success after his first QSQT (he has had hits of course but this was HUGE ) and got him his first Filmfare award as best actor! (I don't think much of the movie but that's not the point). People were writing him off and SRK was getting all the commercial success with DDLJ and Baazigar, Karan Arjun, Darr and the list goes on! This was a major turning point for Aamir!

3 Idiots is his first super duper blockbuster film. I don't think any of his movies did so much business not even Ghajini or Lagaan! This is another major turning point for Aamir- Ghajini started it, 3Idiots established it.

So ya Kapoor sisters are lucky for him!

He of course is lucky for them too...Raja Hindustani changed Lolo's career...this was the first time she looked well groomed like a lady! Bebo of course got her career best commercial success!

And it's just one of those passing statements man....probably said in a light fun mood....why so serious?

So what are people fussing over? EDIT: But I guess it's one of those statements that can be fussed over ! 😆

Looks like you can't debate civily. I already told you what I think what is an opinion and didn't whine over your other opinion as well. Claiming things which a celeb never said or meant is not an opinion. Yes you have full right to say her quote is dumb, stupid or whatever but who the hell are you to say things she didn't say??? Like 3 Idiots would not have worked without her?? Nowhere did she say it.

And yes you should be the last to talk about opinion and accepting criticisms because if am not wrong in the badmaash company trailer when Desigal and others gave their opinions you were like "I genuinely believe the reason is bcz Shahid's her co-star".
