Dear JTYJN hit because of Aamir he give very time for promotion and when public come in cenima they found good film otherwise no one come in cenima to see songs.

syediliayaz, first of all believe aamir, he can never say such a thing...i too was shocked but now aamir was himself shocked tht how a thing was written against him so much...how things were turned from grey to black...so he has resigned his post from the copyright act 👏 thank god...the crap is once in for all out from his mind..

Frankly I feel that it's very low of Aamir to say something like that. Undermining the importance of either the lyrics or the lyricist is simply unfair. Lyrics are what makes a song beautiful. Lyrics are the basic essence of a song. Lyrics bring meaning to a song.

I agree with Javed Akhtar when he says that writers are never given their due credit. They're always made to sit behind the curtains and watch the show they concieved. And anyway, Javed Akhtar has been in this industry for a much longer time than Aamir, ostensibly has more experience.

And if Aamir made this statement from a commercial point of view, then I must question his standard stance about 'Not giving a damn about money and only caring for quality' ? I thought he's the one who said the 'commercial angle' doesn't really matter ?

Javed, as a lyricist, has written a variety of songs. He never stuck to just one genre. Plus he's written some really memorable films like Sholay, Deewar, Zanjeer, Don, Yaadon ki Baarat etc. I don't know about other but I really respect him as an artist and as someone who voices his opinion openly.

Accepting actor Aamir Khan's resignation from a committee set up by him to examine a new Copyright Act for India, Kapil Sibal said, "His resignation is valid. I would have done the same. But there's no setback...someone else will take his place. We wanted this to be sorted internally, but now it will be done formally in front of the standing committee. It's very sad that someone at the meeting went and spoke outside, which is why Aamir is upset."

Khan is reportedly upset after he got into an argument with lyricist Javed Akhtar over whether songwriters should be entitled to royalties.

Sibal's amended Copyright Act suggests that Bollywood artists like composers and music directors be entitled to a share of a film's profits.

If anybody needs to chill it's Javed Akhtar...he is an agressive man and thinks he is the most intelligent person on this planet...he is crude and disgustingly nasty when drunk...seen it first hand at a party!

3 idiots success is gone into his head i think. how can he say that a song is a hit becoz of a star and not lyrics and music ?? I have heard many such songs on radio and fell in love with them, without even knowing which movie is it from , leave besides the actors. Totally disgusting behavior by Aamir, Jaaved is a National Award winner many times, no doubt he is a wonderful lyricist .And I liked when Jaaved said Good for Chetan Bhagat . I feel that it must have been like a silent slap on Aamir's face !

YES YES YES !!! u r right my friend also told me he attended such party where he was insulting everybody including the big celebs...but nobody utter a word since he is an expierenced person but he takes all this advantages in all wrong ways.. but since he is not too much important in the industry ... his behaviour is hardly penned by media..but since its aamir here so the interest goes in...how sick🤢🤢🤢

stop dissing javedA just because aamir is ur fav..!!!..i dont think the matter can be this deep,aamir is a reputed actor,h couldnt have said sumthing as silly as this,i hope its ..jst not true..!!...really now..!!!..
as far as i knw,javedA Has ALWAYS been vocal n touchy about lysicts nt gettin royalty,n he's right,lyricists r treated unequally..!!..u remember the movie,the singer the actor,th music director..without worthy lyrics,a song does have any feelings..!!!..
