Shiv Sena from what I know are simply inhumane. SRK is no fool, and he definitely doesn't want lunatic goos after his family and him with such sensitive subject in hands.

I hardly doubt it's a gimmeck.

Sighh...I wish it weren't true man. Posters of MNIK have been taken off from theatres, theatre owners have stopped showing MNIK promos.They're all scared, obviously. Who wouldn't? SS are such disgustingly violent people. If this isn't solved, then I doubt there'll be a release. And if there is, who'll go watch? No one likes risking their loves for a movie, lol. And I doubt this will get solved, because I don't think SRK is apologizing. I wonder if KJo will bend backwards like he always does.

And I agree. these stars don't have to step up to support MNIK. But they should step up to support the stand SRK has taken. For the sake of their country, atleast. But why would they? It's so amusing that Abhishek Bachchan keeps tweeting SRK and keeps acting all friendly...but his own dad is busy pleasing Bal Thackrey.

This is really saddening.

I am not a fan of SRK, but just because he is the only define one who took a stand on such a marked issue, I will view MNIK on the opening day in the theater.

I understand the fans, Karan Johar, the entire movie team wants MNIK to work out, but I absolutely would love it if SRK does NOT apologize, and is there any way the Shiv Sena folks can apologize? I am very offended with their statements which clearly hinted toward religion and such. Mahrashtra is not run by them, heck they are not even part of the government, so I wonder why the government is mum. The state government's economy will be very much be hurt if MNIK is not screened in Mahrastra, because as everyone is aware of, like it or not, this is amongst the namely releases and most awaited as well.

But of course, if I resided in Mahrashtra, I wouldn't risk my dear life either for a movie.

It's no longer about Shiv Sena. It's about fanatics, zealots, so call moralists of any community getting away with violence towards anyone due to freedom of speech!!!!!! If we don't stop SS, another group will show goondagardi!!!!! It's a matter of principal!!!! At least SRK is a powerful man and he can inspire others to support him. THere are many who don't get a voice and are unfotunately silenced due to their opinion!

What about yesteryear actress Khushboo saying that sex was ok before marriage, but those individuals should not have unprotected sex. She was silenced and made to apologize.

Or Aamir Khan supporting someone around the Narmada dam and the movie was not released in Gujarat. This is otrocious!!

Or a simple thing like Richard Gere kissing Shilpa Shetty.... How do the zealots get away with this gundagardhi!! Because it has been allowed to happen....
