That drama happened last year or before that.

Jitesh Pillai sucks up to everyone in Bollywood and then gets offended when some don't give him bhaav. Whoever is pally with him, he goes on and on and on about them. Jitesh has no say in Filmfare Awards. His job is to sell covers.

Awards are mostly decided by the sponsors.

Oh, I'm not undermining his work. Definitely not. Just emphasizing Jitesh's obsession for him. He's good, but not deserving the crazy hype he gets IMO.
