Naahhh - Actually there is a video on Zoom which said that the exact opposite happened. Apparently Shahid showed up early to be with Priyanka and he welcomed all the guests who came (this part was actually captured on video). Also that they sat together till Priyanka had to leave to go catch a flight and he stayed back till the film ended. Anushka, Deepika, Neil are also working on YRF movies right now but they weren't there. The screening was held for the cast&crew and their family and friends.
Not saying that any of this is necessarily true - but the story out there is quite different from what you predicted.
