Tough choice between Kajol and Urmila but I would go for Urmila...she was outstanding whether it was in Kaun, Pyar Tune Kya Kiya or Bhoot.

I don't think priyanka's role was negative...she just wanted the man back in the life...why because tht man(desperate akshay kumar as always) is not doodh ka dhoola.🤢..he might be a pati vrata from outside but he had strong side for priyanka. she should have nominated in the best actress category and so as Urmila

I agree. I dont count her role as negative since she played the negative side only for some minutes.

Going by that, not only negative characters, but also comedians, etc etc too can be nominated for the best actor category, as they are ACTORS first, and the other-labels-that-they-had-been-given later. I really think it's high time they get rid of the negative award category, if not the others.

Kajol for Gupt, even if she played the villain for a shorter time, her acting during that span was really good! And during the rest of the time it was awesome too!
Also Priyanka for Aitraaz! One of her best performances!

From the list except for Preity Zinta's character in Armaan I like the rest.

All time best would be Nadira or Bindu.

Urmila is the complete WINNER and she shuld have been nominated and won the best actress award in 2001. it gives me horrible hiccups to remember tht kajol got the award for her overacting in K3G.
anyways if one is asked to watch all three films one by one - PTKK, gupt and aitraaz the vote shall defintely goes to Urmila, if it is genuine and based on the merit and not on the popularity and liking🤢
