I wasn't in the forum when kareena said that. If someone call Srk, Aamir, Akshay, Saif, Ranbir, Imran, Abhishek or hrithik(Not sure if any popular star left😆) As their God. It is WRONG! I have nothing against Aamir or Amitabh. I am just saying calling a human a God is wrong. Humans cannot be God, even if they try to do so.

I know i am not even bashing kareena. I liked some of her work. In india thousands or more than that praise and think of their fans as God. I think it's crazy. I am not just pointing out kareena but other celebrities who use it. From Priyanka to ritesh deshmukh; seriously need to stop. I would behave the same way if it was Sonam or Srk. MJ is and always will be king of Pop not GOD..A.R is a genius but not GOD. I use to love Amitabh in old days and his performances were classic example but not GOD.

Point is just that. No matter how much you are excited because you have just gotten a blockbuster hit (no thanks to you), that does not make your statement valid. Context is important, but of course. 😛

According to Kareena, when it comes to cinema, Aamir is God. How is that statement valid on any account considering Aamir's previous flops? She has praised Aamir on a lot of occasions, much thanks to her habit of sucking up to people. I have no problems with that. Most celebs do that.

Whatever context she was speaking in, it is a STUPID REMARK to make. 😛

And then people wonder why topics go on for pages and pages. 😆

I'd like to keep myself out of this debate from now. Duniya mein do cheezon ka koi ilaaj nahin. One is shak, the other is love. 😉😛

Above statements are more of a general statements, so before you think I am labelling "YOU" as someone's fan or anything, I'd like to clear that.

Agree with Zaru - I wasn't in the forum either at that time...Desu y're too much honest to say that people on IF are selective and biaised when it comes to the other Biggies...

Personally Am the first one to pick on my faves --- Bebo was wrong to make such statement -- If she meant "God of Cinema" or "God" - it's wrong --- And it's not because it's Aamir, I think he's brilliant and talented actor - I've already said SO on another thread...

I've already said on another thread that Priyanka does praise SRK too much in the medias - we know that she loves, admires, looks up to him -- she says that SRK is her idol (I'm christian and my spiritual sensitivity has been shocked also)....Everytime she's interviewed she has to say so - once is enough - If she wants to thank him a lot more she can do it privately or by sms/phone calls 😕

Even the word role model is strong - I always think that someone's life, career, character and behaviour may be inspiring..But calling anyone God or all of the Khans (your Nawab included) - it's wrong ----

There's no war on the thread -- it's just that I think that the sycophant side of Kareena was a bit OTT --- and I say so for every star when they praise too much - because it does sound fake when they give that tag to another/current co star....

Maybe we're overanalyzing - we're just giving our opinions

Even I am shocked by "the King of BW" tag - even in the Golden Globes award they called SRK so --- That was ridiculous...His french fans often refer to him as King Khan - that's ridiculous....i'd rather prefer when they call him "sweetie" --🥱

For believers it's shocking that's all --- because they only give that tag to "specific" God(s).

Does not matter if it's Salman or SRK or Aamir. Nobody is GOD. What's so hard for people to understand. I find it stupid on people's part who encourage such statements. I have seen many fans give such status to their favourites. Yes, you love your favourite but there are other ways to express your love. But people pass around such sentences without even thinking how DUMB they sound. 😛

I think Aamir is great but I am not a dolt to call him or anyone for that matter "GOD" of anything, because he is human afterall. If he was such a "GOD", he would not have a single flop ever but he has made his mistakes, both in personal life and in professional life as well.

I'm glad that Aamir does not let such statements get to his head, which he shouldn't. Fans should not put their celebs on such a high pedestal, because the higher they are, the harder they fall. 😛

A lot of people say that. Posting other people's tweet is not going to make the statement correct in any way.

Funny you posted the tweet about SRK. I find it quite ironic that SRK is being considered "God" of movies, considering the last movie he did was a FLOP. 😛 Taran Mansukhani is just as stupid, isn't he. Not suprised considering the last movie I remember him being associated with was Dostana. 🤔🤢
