Did Sharmila convert after marriage?

BUt saif said in one of his interviews that his mum did convert.

Did anyone else know this?

And is it true that her muslim name is Ayesha? I heard that rumor somewhere as well. Anyone know more about it?

Khan spent his childhood in a Muslim atmosphere, reading the Quran, with his grandmother being the center of his religious education. Khan says that "Religion played a major role in my upbringing."
