SRK isn't good looking, he's short and all his female co stars are attracted by him. Because it's his personality and mind that attract the most. And at his debut, everyone called him a bear and used to despise him.

Some friend of mine said to me a few months ago : he's ugly, I'd not turn my back to see him walking down the street ", and I said yes "he's not that good looking but it's not my reason to like him" and then when I said but your BF is average, her face turned different...

So it's easy to say this or that but the fact is Shahid has fans......no need to question their taste.

I don't find Bebo that attractive but I can understand why people find her so.

Vidya, Piggy, Bebo, Sania find Shahid attractive because I guess he fits in their criterion of "handsome" or "hot". And I guess it has to do with the circumstances of the meeting, sometimes in some of them we don't find someone attractive and in others we can see perceive them in a different light...

Rani, I usually like yours and Geet's posts. Both of you are sensible, open minded people. I don't have personal grudge against people on here. Its just that the whole fandom issue gets on my e-nerves sometimes and I may sound like a hater but thats not what it is, I'm just voicing my opinion. I have agreed with you, Geet and other Shanks fans in the past on many issues. Its just this time things escalated and we got personal. But hey, this thread will die so will the others. But we can't and should not let this affect our forum relationship.

I may like arguments and bickering with each other on here but I definitely don't want this or any other unpleasant episode to cause permanent strain between member's relations with each other. We will all have our favorites, our perspectives and we will all stubbornly adhere to it. You, me everyone does it. So lets agree to disagree and argue about the stars not about each other.

I am glad we are people who can discuss through things. It shows me we are capable of having some interesting and healthy debates in the near future. I continue to look forward to that as I always do to your posts even if they sometimes are diametrically opposite to what I believe 😉

Again, as you, I would like to explain myself when it comes to the losers Shaks and Peefee. Yes, you could say I am big fans of them individually for a long time. I am sure you've picked that up. Not because I think Shahid is some hot stud, but because I think he is a very good actor. Same with Priyanka. She's pretty , but I could care less about that. I found her acting and confidence to take strong roles very interesting early in her career. Even if she came off as a villainous or forceful women. I thought that was risky and I appreciate it being a women.
Being fans with them individually, I was blown away when I found that they were dating. I also went through a break up right at the same time. And maybe to nurse my own feelings of loss, I kind of found their relationship interesting and exciting. Knowing they both also came from previous break ups, I was happy that Shahid and Priyanka found each other.

Now, to next point. I've read much of everything on these two losers. I am familiar with which journalists are credible and those that are not. I've been somewhat a bollywood fanatic for most of my life. This does not mean that what I believe is completely right. But, I can tell you that my knowing that they were together was based on some credible information and articles. But, to be told that somehow I am delusional or a fan girl not only by you , but others on this forum can be very dismissive and condescending. In fact those terms are blankedly used on everyone who likes a particular fan. I don't see why, but I think it's an easy crticisism which is openly used on this forum. Actually for a long time I dealt with those comments and did not really care. You wont find me reacting much to any of those comments.

But, 2 days ago, I got really frustrated and yes went over board in the celeb forum and criticized NOT you, but anybody who used those terms to coin us as fans of this couple. Yes, we just had a discussion so I am sure it was pretty easy to assume it was directed specifically at you. But, let me tell you, I am so happy with what happened the other day. You, seeing what I wrote was good. Me realizing that you were upset. And us both sorting this out. I have learned that We can probably work through anything now. I am eager and ready to have a wonderful debate with you and know that I might not change my mind completely, but I will be learning a different perspective. One that will get me to think. Thanks for that.

But, more important than these actors or my like for them, is my relationship with people on this forum. I am always eager to not do anything intentionally to hurt you or anyone else. THat holds greater value for me. That does not mean I wont criticize certain actors and actresses myself, but I don't want to criticize the person that likes them.

By the way, I like your posts too. They came from a level of thought and open mindedness as well. Now that we have resolved that, Let's get back in the battle ring again!!!!! 😃

Ok, thanks, wasn't accusing you or anything... was honestly puzzled as to this assumption... I mean I've heard people say that only girls like Shahid, which might have some truth to it, since all the girls I know adore him.... the guys are not so keen(lol). This IF thing was a little strange.
