| Sushmita's smooching controversy Some of our industrywalas need to be told that the Indian audience has moved beyond smooches and kisses. From 'Khwahish' to 'Salaam Namaste' it's been a journey well traveled and to expect that we'll get titillated and rush to the theaters just to watch some smooching scenes is ridiculous. So why would anybody start rumors that Sushmita Sen has a torrid smooching scene with her co-star in her next film 'Chingari' by Kalpana Lajmi. Both the actress and director have vehemently denied it. Sush has infact threatened the producer that she wouldn't be part of the promotions of the film if such things were said about her. The film deals with the subject of prostitutes and the politics of sex and the director Kalpana Lajmi is understandably upset that it is being advertised as a cheap skin flick. |
