What's Your Raashee is not Wanted at box-office

Ashutosh Gowariker's attempt at making a romantic comedy wasn't really appreciated by the audiences. Priyanka Chopra's 12 avatars in What's Your Raashee? couldn't multiply the success of the film. With a dull screenplay, half-baked plots, one-dimensional characters, too many songs and tedious length the film could not appeal much to the audience. Being written off almost unanimously in the media also kept the discerning audience away. The opening was weak and the collections didn't show signs of improvement over the weekend. The Monday holiday (Dassera) also didn't help cine goers get into the theatres.
The other release Fast Forward went past in the same mode at the box-office. Hardly anyone was interested in the film.
With no strong opposition, Salman Khan continued to rule the box-office with Wanted being the most sought after film. Last week, Wanted enjoyed an extended weekend with Monday's holiday which repeated this week too with Dassera. Business of Dil Bole Hadippa was pale in comparison.
