Amitabh Bachchan recently met Katrina Kaif at the GQ Awards in Mumbai, and couldn't help but notice how far Katrina has come from her Boom days.

Big B writes on his blog, "Katrina stabbed a 'hey it's me' finger on my shoulder and we recollected the old times."

"The time of her very first film, Boom, and how, as a shy reticent girl, she had been bullied by the director not to ever look (at herself) in the monitor."

"Katrina was "new and uncertain like most of us, but was keen to see what she looked like on screen". "I thought it was a most natural and common desire and one that should have been allowed by the director… I had dragged her to the monitor and given her the first look of what she looked like. To her credit, she still remembers that moment."

Big B also shared an incident with his blog audience about Katrina being denied entry into a Dubai club, 'coz she looked underage.

Big B writes,"I recollect the embarrassment she and all of us faced when she was stopped from going inside a club because the man ( at) the door thought her to be underage."

"And now, from a small insignificant part in Sarkar to the most googled and popular star in the firmament, Ms Kaif has come such a long way in such a short time," Big B signs off.

She indeed has come a long way! Don't you agree folks?

Aww seriously that is a very nice anecdote from Amitji.. his blog is very insightful and lovely. It is charming to hear about every fascet of his life. Wow Katrina's story makes me a bit emo.. she has gone through a lot to be where she is. But she has been lucky to work with names like Amitji, Sals and others.. hopefully she continues her winning streak at bo, I wish her luck..

indeed she has come a long way from her first movie. hats off to her for achieving so much in such a short span of time.

Everyone these days are the people of opportunity !! Who so ever it is !! Its not a big deal if Big B is doing that for his son !! I think bollywood is an industry where the moto is you scratch my back I scratch yours !! 😳
