Yeah but her having lived in UP for a long time she was more used to that language than me.

Did Saif get nominated for Parineeta? I thought he did, but someone else won right?

Big B for Black (another movie I thought was BAD. I don't know how it was said it was such an amazing movie. The performances were overacted; Ayesha was brilliant though)

I would say Rani was good but not amazing. Black I feel is one of the most overrated films to come out of India in a while. Add to that the fact that major parts of the film were a frame-to-frame copy of The Miracle Worker.

I cannot remember what were the indie releases from that year. So don't know whether I would pick Saif straight away, but he was better than Amitabh Bachchan.

Went through the list

My picks: Konkana Sen Sharma for 15 Park Avenue (or Chitrangada Singh for HKA) and Kay Kay Menon for Hazaaron Khwahishein Aisi. But I would be deluding myself If I thought these people had a real shot at winning.

If not Kay Kay Menon then Shreyas Talpade for Iqbal, and then third I guess would be Saif.
