Looking at that list reminds me - Vinay Pathak in Dasvidaniya was also better than Hrithik in Jodha Akbar. I still don't understand how this guy has so many best actor awards in his kitty?

Seriously! Atleast Jodha Akhar can still be called deserving compared to waht he won for in teh past.

I mean....Kaho Na Pyaar Hai?? Koi Mil gaya (ok this one I'll give to him), BUT KRISSH AND DHOOM 2?!?
SEROIUSLY? The same yaer that omkara released, he won for Krissh and D2 over Ajay and Saif!?

Simple na ji-He is HRITHIK ROSHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vinay Pathak kaun?? Dasvidaniya kya??????
Our film awards don't see the content ji, they see the stars. If the content was looked at, A Wednesday (out of the few) would have kicked JA's behind out.
I'm in 2 minds with Kurbaan (Why is it with a K and not Q; I like Q better lol). Anywayz, after the Tashan incident, my uncle won't want to see it lol. However, I don't even know what the essence of the story is; I just know it's on terrorism. Desu, please tell me.😳

I am just hoping Kurbaan does not fall into the same trap as New York. At least Rensil picked better actors for his film.

Personally, I think Koi Mil Gaya is Hrithik's most overrated performance. He overacted so much in that film. JA was toned down, but there were so many better performances last year. And A Wednesday was a hit - and from the same production house as JA.

The one I will always be pissed about is the complete dismissal of Black Friday. Chak De and TZP pale in comparision to Black Friday. Even the National Awards completely overlooked it.

Saif should have won best actor for Omkara, and Kareena as well I think. I personally didn't love Ajay in the film too much. He was just ok. Konkana though was brilliant especially towards the end.

Kurbaan is not related to Tashan at all, lol!
Ok how do I explain Kurbaan...I myself dont know too much about it.
Cast: Saif, Kareena, Vivek, Om Puri, Kiron Kher, Diya Mirza
Music: Salim Suleiman
Director: Rensil D'Silva
Umm, so basically its a strong love story...that's also a thriller, but it sbased on terrorism. Saif ia a terrorist, kareena's his wife. Not much is known about Vivek's character. Rensil, from what I gathered, said that kurbaan is th eother side of the story. He said that americans have a popular perception of muslims. he wants to change that. He wants to dwell into teh mind of a terrorist and show why it is they do what they do, what they think like, what their reasons are. Saif went out and did some research and said something about muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan suffering everyday.
I know Diya's a reporter.
Umm...Vivek, the only info we have is that his father fears that Viek is losing his muslim identity in the U.S.
What else...uhhh, when I find out more, I'll let you know

Kareena lost out to kajol for Fanaa and Ash for D2 that year except in the screen awards, lol
Oh Konkona was fantastic! Did Vivek win anything? I felt he was overlooked as well

I guess we'll find out more together on October 2nd, won't we Desu? Rensil does sound more serious in his approach for the record. I am just a bit guarded about it since terrorism seems to be all the rage in Bollywood these days. Agreed Geet, it was such a pity Black Friday has been overlooked, considering it is probably the best on the subject and one of the most well-made movies of recent times.

Vivek was nominated. He like Ajay was just okay to me. They didn't really move me, but their characters were also more one dimensional. I loved her speech at Star Screen Awards by the way where she thanked Vishal Bharadwaj, and Karisma seemed really happy for her. That made me happy especially after seeing VB win for Best Music, deservedly. Too bad, that didn't happen at the other award functions. *eyeroll*

*shivers* oh yes we will! PLZZZ be what i have in mind. I dont want stereotypes, that's what I'm most guarded about. I hope Rensil comes through. But from what I gather about rensil, he seems very focused.
