I am actually of a different opinion here. I think they should keep their private life "private."
I know in India even if you have lunch with your cousin, the media will assume that this person is your boyfriend. And obviously their is no such thing as having a good friend of the opposite sex. Forgot about opposite. If your seen with someone of the same sex too often, that will be mis-construed as well.
Whether they deny or confirm, the media decides what they want to decide. No matter how much they say they never got involved with someone, the media writes about it as a fact. Sometimes it's true and sometimes it is false.
Many times she said she was not with Akshay or Harman. But, do we care. We all read into it what we want to based on what we want to believe about the reports or not.
If I was them, I would develop a thick skin. Let people say what they want to say and confirm only when you are totally commited or engaged to be married.
Because the day you say you are dating someone:
if you talk to someone else, they will say you are having an affair
they will write about baseless break ups and why
and make up concocted stories as to why you broke up if you did
If you give them a finger, they will take your hand.
