I think there could have been a twist in this controversy. In a sense that every one would have been with him on this.
The wrong path SRK took was:
Firstly , he said I am interrogated becasue I have a KHAN name (which can be a publicity stunt for his upcoming movie whic divided the people on this controvery).
Secondly it felt as if he was trying to say that I was treated liek a normal public and did not care about hte thousands of other muslime and hindus going thru it.
I for one would have been with him on this if he had played this card for whole of this thing:
"I am a big star of India and America should learn to respec the creative people and artists from different country coming to thier country for shooting and other media related purposes. They should learn from us Indians. When any Hollywood star visits India we have special security, lunch with ministers etc but we get not that good reception here in US"
