CELEBRATIONS AT STAR STUDDED EVENINGS

The GJEPC and the Gitanjali Group hosted two separate events after the 2nd day's proceedings at the IIJS concluded.
The Gem and jewelry Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) in conjunction with Rio Tinto, All India Gem and Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF), International Gemological Institute (IGI) and Gold Souk launched the India Diamond Jewellery Promotion (IDJP) program at the Hyatt, Mumbai.

Actor Sonam Kaporr features as the brand ambassador for the promotion. Kapoor will be promoting a single line of diamond jewelry under the brand name 'Ananta'.

At Renaissance, Powai the Gitanjali Group celebrated 15 years of making and selling branded jewelry in India. Stars like Neil-Nitin Mukesh, Bipasha Basu, Raima Sen, Vikram Phadnis and Celina Jaitley among many others walked the ramp for Gitanjali.

'IIFA Bling'- a line of diamond, gold, silver and fashion jewelry and watches created by Gitanjali was launched at the event. The line will be labeled 'Bollywood jewels fro IIFA'.

Speaking on the occasion, Mehul Choksi, CMD, Gitanjali Group said, "It gives me great pride to state that branded jewelry in India has successfully completed 15 years and that the Gitanjali Group has been the pioneer in this."

"This success has been due to a lot of perseverance, hard work and a concentrated team effort. Tonight's evening is a tribute to my fraternity without whom this would not have been possible," Choksi concluded.
