Anurag Basu not happy with the Roshans
Director feels Kangana is getting a raw deal in 'Kites'

Director Anurag Basu (pictured left) is apparently upset that his favourite actress Kangana Ranaut is being sidelined by the Roshans in their mega project "Kites".
Kangana is playing the second lead in the film, but we hardly ever hear about her in the context of this film.
It was on Basu's insistence that Kangana was signed for "Kites". It's said that the Roshans did not want her but had to bend down to Basu's demand, who has directed Kangana previously in "Life in a… Metro" and "Gangster".
Subsequently, some things have not gone according to Basu's liking. Though he has reportedly been annoyed with the film's lead pair Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori hogging all the limelight and Kangana getting royally sidelined, Basu has kept his calm all these months.
However, now Basu has finally put his foot down. The Roshans apparently want Kangana's voice in the movie to be dubbed by a dubbing artiste whereas Anurag wants her original voice to be retained.
Kangana's peculiar style of dialogue delivery is liked by some while not liked by the others. The Roshans it seems do not approve of it!
