^^^Yea, I know its on IMBD, but I saw an interview of the director on tv back in 2005 or 06 when the interviewer asks him who was the first choice for Jane Smith and he says Nicole Kidman. He also mentioned Catherine Zeta Jones name, but never said anything about Aishwarya. As for the male lead, he said Johny Depp was considered as well. Maybe he had considered Aishwarya as well, but he did not take her name, so I don't think she was.

I'm not sure about 7 pounds and Hitch. Those are probably true because Will Smith likes her and he did say she rejected a lot of roles with him.

n katrina also rejected piggy's role in barsaat as said by crystii..

omg...if akki n kat both agreed to do it then v would have seen them together...omg hehe..

n kat's latest rejection is 7 DAYS IN PARIS...thx to imran for interfering =p

which later on has also been rejected by kareena followed by pc..

Rani was offered the role of the mother in Heyy Babyy, which then went to Vidya Balan. Rani was also offered a pivotal part in Bhool Bhullaiyya, a role which again went to Vidya Balan. Both of these films became super hits.

When Rani was asked as to why she turned down these two very good roles, the actress responded by saying, "I want to essay characters which I have not done before. My fans have given me so much love and respect that I want to make them happy about my performances. These films, however, went on to become huge hits. I am still waiting for a good offer opposite Akshay."

I know Deepika said she wishes to work with salman but I don't know why she refused the movie Main Aur Mrs Khanna. She would've worked with her dream co-star salman in that movie.
