Fazed by ex-wife Payal's presence, Aditya Chopra nearly skips a special family screening of his own production, New York

While Yash Raj Films is set to release their much-delayed New York on June 26, a special screening of the film caused some real-life family drama. Aditya Chopra made only a brief appearance towards the end of screening. It had something to do with the presence of his ex-wife Payal at the screening. The screening of the John-Katrina-Neil starrer was held for the family at Yash Raj Studios. Aditya stayed away from it and made a token appearance at the end. Our source said, "The only reason can be that Aditya did not want to hang around too long in Payal's presence." Dad Yash Chopra, his wife Pamela, ex-bahu Payal and New York's director Kabir Khan attended the screening. Interestingly, Aditya's current girlfriend Rani Mukerji has also seen New York. The buzz in Yash Raj Studios is that Aditya held a special screening for his current flame a few days ago. "Aditya consults Rani on many aspects of his company's films. This time was no exception," our source added. Aditya had also asked Yash Chopra for his opinion on the film. "Even Payal liked the film and she conveyed that to Aditya," our source added.
