Is Kareena a media hyped actress??? - Page 2

I like her shes not the worst actor around but like you said shes not had alot of hits for that she is really hyped...she still has alot of potential i think.

well i wont say she has been a gr8 actor from the beginning coz i remember movies like khushi...mein prem ki deewani hun...n others where she over acted and her expressions were also very loud but now she is a very natural actress...but the thing wid kareena is that she keeps u glued...when eva shez onscreen u cant see any1 else but her...she has that charm n attitude n everyfin which makes her unnoticable...that is y she has survived despite giving soo many flops which makes her a true star who doesnt even need hits to survive in the industry...

n as far as media is concerned ..well i have heard soo many times media calling priyanka a bigger star than kareena especially after the release of aitraaz...it has also labelled kat no 1 many times...i think media has actually called all the actresses no 1 at some time...whether thats kareena...katrina..or priyanka they all have been labelled no 1 by the media..its not jst kareena...n i think kareena is the most deserving of these three to be labelled no 1...

Well, IMO, she's a good actress, but I think her and Ash are sometimes full of themselves.

who are we too judge her acting? we don't have Phd In Drama. LOL.

When she started her career, I though she overacted a lot. But now, I think she has shown tremendous acting talent.

When she started of i think she was grossly overrated but of late she has shown a lot of improvement in her acting & has tremendous screen presence. I just hope she stops doing the so called glamorous roles like in Tashan & Golmaal & does some meaningful cinema.

She deserves her position in the industry today. Whatever means she has used it has worked. She has great banners lined up and she is a wonderful actress now. Looking forward to more films of her.

well..i still think she iz a bit overrated (not in terms of acting though) .. like even if she would sneeze it will becum a news... like how she was the only actress last year who made it to filmfare power news , it was all over the news.... i mean how cum the same media didnt make it a big news as they r makin it so big now when rani was the only actress who was there quite a few times n ash was there too couple of times .. buh now the same media iz goin on and on bout bebo making it to the power list...i think that media has played a big role in taking kareena to a position where she iz now.....

It also has to do with the fact that the media's gotten a lot more involved and active in the stars lives overall NOW then it did before. And to a certain extent, the media knows that kareena sells. People are curious about her. I mean sometimes she is overexposed, yaks a bit too much, lol. Yet still, she has this starlike quality that people like. While the media have taken her side at one point, dont forget, the same media shred her down after her break up. And hte same media wrote countless negative articles about her not wanting to work with certain actresses, when it wasnt true. She also got into arguments wiht media personels, but most of hte time, she doesnt care what's written about her.
