So I had a lil interaction online with the director of Kambakkht Ishq, Sabbir Khan! And he is SOOO Sweet and down to earth!
Kambakkht Ishq WILL BE THE FIRST MEGA RELEASE after hte strike is over!! Sabbir said so himself. I dont know if that means that LAK and the others will be slightly postponed as well since the original conditions of the strike were that movies will release int eh order htey were originally slated to come out, so it makes sense that KI comes out before LAK and Kaminey.
He said though they wanna make sure that its released PROPERLY, in EVERY SINGLE MULTIPLEX and SINGLE SCREEN.
Sabbir's words
"no it doesnt mean we are looking to release late ... in fact the day the strike gets over we will be the first big film to release actually"
He's super sweet, and in regards to our KI group, this is what he said
"maryam i will sometime in the near future dedicate a day or few hours to whatever you need from me and the group okay"

Guys do us a favor, for some reason the comments on his blog are getting very negative with hater commetns towards Akki and the other stars of the movie and towards KI in general. Its veyr disheartening for a debut director to meet with that kinda feedback. Please do go here and just post some positive commetns about KI. The negativity will not do any good!
