Freida airbrushed for the L'Oreal adverts?

After Beyonce was pretty much airbrushed whiter by L'Oral not too long ago, it's all the more infuriating to see that their tendency to equate lighter skin with beauty hasn't changed. When they say Freida Pinto of Slumdog Millionaire "is the new face of L'Oral," what they seem to really mean is she has a new face of L'Oreal. Un-f**king-real.

So disappointed 😭
I thought one of the reasons Frieda took the west by storm was her lovely color. She looks so much prettier in the first photo as comapred to the photoshopped one ugh.
I am confused now - is this her new ad with Loreal or not ?

ok lets get one thing clear.....the first pic is from an award show whereas the second pic is from a photoshoot...theres a BIG difference between the lights used and it makes a BIG diference on the color of the skin......More makeup is used durring photoshoots and less during live events
second, ALLLLL PICS ARE PHOTOSHOPED! i mean literally, all photoshoot pics are PHOTOSHOPPED! dark skin people tend to get more noticed more than light skin people
no one complains when Ash comes out in her pics looking flawless an yet when u see her at awards show and parties her skin is sort of dark, uneven, and at times patchy.....

Whitewashing always happens. Feministing has done other articles like this too where they have covered how Beyonce's features were whitened. And that Vogue special March cover with all of the up and coming models, they whitened all of the black models to the point where it looked like everyone had the same features except for some's skin being a little more tan than others.

Agree with dizzyonlemondae - Loreal had messed up with Beyonce before too so its NOT just lighting.
It was a huge controversy here in the US.
Hopefully they dont make Frieda fit "the image". She is fine as she is.
