You're talking as though her chucking her fiance was so talked about itwas conferredheadlines status. Dev Patel is no Brad Pitt, and Freida is certainly as popular, if not more than Dev. He is only ever known for his role in the movie, but it's Freida who scaled miles over Dev for her style. She was nominated for those polls because, duh, she's popular. Not a very difficult concept to grasp, no? Polls hardly ever carry any degree of credibility; but are only a yardstick of popularity.

Maybe to desis and pigeonholed Indians, the concept of going out with a younger guy would be a novelty and a sacrilege. It's quite a common thing.

And I'm not going to dignify the last bit of your response with a reply, because tht'd just make me as stupid and illogical. This was NEVER an Ash versus Freida post, nor did my initial post insinuate or suggest either anything contentious or draw a distinction between Ash and Freida. Please don't convolute everything and use it as a means to get on your soapbox.

The Bond girl rumours and being the face of Estee Lauder(which was reportedly giving Gywneth Paltrow sleepless nights in fear of getting her gig stolen). So does that mean the Bond bosses never approached her and Estee Lauder kicked her ass out of their company??? @joie de vivre--I am no hater...I always appreciate beauty...and say it all loudly when I dont find any1 beautiful(afterall we are here to give our opinions)...there are many who thinks shez ugly so I guess alot of people will stop buying the products endorsed by her including me...

Well I know how much u hate ASH...havent seen a single disscussion where u dont come up praising any other actress and not ASH...u keep doing wht u want...But, you cant deny the fact that she is not beautiful...she'll fade out soon..remember what happened to Himesh??? thats wht will be happening to her...!!!!
