She's more than a best friend: Kareena Kapoor

Mumbai: Whoever said you can't have best friends in Bollywood, eat your heart out! It seems there's a new addition to Kareena Kapoor's BFF list (Best Friends Forever) other than Amrita Arora. And folks, it's none other than Kajol!

There's a new addition to Kareena Kapoor's BFF list (Best Friends Forever)Kareena it seems has been taking literary tips from Kajol, who's one of the most avid readers amongst Bollywood's leading ladies. "She's more than a best friend to me. I have started sharing this lovely bond with Kajol and she is such an inspiration! I told her that I have admired her since I was a child, and of late we've been getting along like a house on fire," says Kareena from New York, where she is currently shooting the last schedule of Rensil D' Silva's film tentatively titled Jihaad.

Kareena and Kajol met for the first time while shooting for Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum and KJo apparently found the chemistry between the actresses sizzling enough to cast them again in the Indian version of the Hollywood hit Stepmom, that is yet to take off. Karan, who has cast Kareena in the role of Julia Roberts, has officially bought the rights of the film for a remake.

In fact, Kareena also hinted that she wants to be a part of the celebrations when the Kajol-SRK blockbuster Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (DDLJ) creates a world record run of 750 continuous weeks at Maratha Mandir.

"I would die for DDLJ! Shah Rukh and Kajol are my all-time favourite pair. Isn't it such a great thing (that the film has created a record)? I would want to be a part of the celebrations for sure," she adds.

There's also some other news which Kareena didn't want to confirm just yet - a few producers are furiously negotiating with her to be a judge on a TV reality show. Kareena has been offered a bomb and reportedly is finally in a mood to negotiate after initially saying no to them.

Desigal90, You know one thing that I have to give Kareena is that she is funny. She keeps changing her BFF list with her own convinience.😆

NEVER ever heard her say that before but I guess now that she is doing a film with Kajol (long before when she was debuting she did say that she wants to be like Kajol and she was her inspiration but down the line that statement went to my ONLY inspiration is my sister)...Kajol has entered her list of BFF....but it maybe becasue of Saif as I know that Saif is close to Kajol....

But I have to give this to her she is the most innovtive girl as far as her thoughts are concerned and difficult to keep track of her statements...😆......

But on a serious note I think the only BFF she has is Amrita Arora. And yes she is close to Kajol after her alliance with Saif.

Ummm...I disagree.

She always maintained hte Priyanka was an aquaintence that she gets along very well with, and to this day, she says the same.

Amrita Arora and her have remained friends throughout all htese years.

She's great freinds iwth Rani, and she STILL says that. That rani is one girl she's very close to. She has NEVER said a WORD against Rani. You hunt me ANY quote of kareena that doesnt praise Rani to the skies, I will agree with you.

And same with Kajol. She always loved Kajol and I remember when she entered hte industry, she said she wants to be a mix of karisma nad kajol. Even in K3G she was in awe of Kajol and karan once gave an interview saying that its really sweet kareena idolizes her, but one day, kareena has her own personality and iwll find her own niche in the industry.

So hence, she always was, is, and will love Kajol.

And it has NOTHING to do with Saif. Saif cant change her mind. He doesnt impose his views on her. If she doesnt get along wiht someone, he wont alter that. She patched up with Bipz BEFORE saif. Bipz said on her kwk that kareena nad her have matured now, and they definitely get along. Recently Bipz made a statement saying taht Kareean is such asweet girl, adn that she never got to know her htat well.

Priyanka's said on her Dostnaa episode thingie that one word to describe kareena woudl be "misunderstood" and added, both by me and the world.

Preity and her also made up before Saif. I remember during the 2005 IIFA, Preity came out adn said osmething sweet about kareena, and I even remember kareena saying that Preity's done a great job in KHNH, and hse couldnt have done it as well as her.

The saif thing was just a joke. That's why kareena burst out laughing. I dont think a man can force you to be coridal with someone.

Kareena desrves some credit to herself as well. SHe was bratty when she entered, she thoguht that the world was against her, and she very strong, powerful, all that, etc etc.

She's matured, and it shows.

It shows? Really? I don't see it. She still is inconsistent and erratic with her statements. Very immature, actually. Or maybe she has bipolar tendencies, because sometimes she does not stop singing praises about a certain person and the next moment, she couldn't care less about that person.

Case in point. I don't remember when or where she said this, I don't keep track of bollywood chicks......but....

First she said, " Priyanka is a sweet girl" then after a few months when an interviewer asked (was it Taran Adarsh?) , "who do you think is the best actress" or something like that, She goes, "Rani". Then he asks, what about the others like Priyanka...blah blah.....and she says in a very demeaning way...."I said actresses!" I saw her expressions when she said this, it was a youtube, or bollywood hungama website, not sure. And I need to add here that her body language and expressions while answering the question ws anything BUT mature.

Frankly speaking Kareena needs some lithium. She reminds me of catty high school girls who keep changing friends and fads every season. At least sometimes. Although I will add that I absolutely loved her in Chameli. Can't say the same for anything else.

Thats interesting...because that parrticular interview was not recorded...it was in PRINT. ANd I remember reading that coz it was her filmfare interview.

Taran on the other hand cleared it up with her on bollywood hungama, and this is exactly waht she said:

So something about Rani, gushing about her, blah blah blah, great actress then, Taran went, "And Priyanka?"

And Kareena went, "And Priyanka's great as well. She's a very sweet girl, but what i feel for Rani is I mean, I've known Rani even before I came into bollywood blah blah blah...but yes Priyanka is a great actress as well. I never meant to say that about Priyanka"

I'll try adn look for that interview and post it for you when I find it 😊

HSe has definitely matured compared ot her previous statements/behavior etc. Trust me, its A LOT better.

Kareena friends changes very quickly. I am not surprised she is praising Kajol, since Rumors are of them signing a movie. Kareena interviews and her personality confuses me a lot. Some time she says Kajol is her inspiration, Then Karishma and recently Ash😆 in Actors too her mind changes very quickly too, from Srk to Akki to Aamir. She use to be very good friends with Esha deol and in KWK she said no Priyanka isn't my friend, poor Priyanka was shocked😆
