oh wow, this is the most shocking news. Fardeen was there in an award function to accept lifetime achievement for he's dad since he was not well... he's dad wrote down he's speech.
RIP to Firoz. Poor Fardeen, I hope the family is doing okay. I haven't seen Firoz's movies or anything like that but I'm a fan of Fardeen. I know how Fardeen loves talking about he's dad.

Feroz's Last Wish fulfilled!

Posted by sashi on 4/27/09 • Categorized as Bollywood News

While undergoing treatment in the hospital a few days back, Feroz expressed his wish to visit his farmhouse in Bangalore to be with his pet animals, mainly horses and dogs.

Albeit, doctors refused permission, actor and son Fardeen decided to fulfill his father's wish.

Fardeen made arrangements for a special chartered flight to Bangalore, accompanied by nurses, flew his father to the farmhouse.
Feroz Khan spent nearly three days at his farm with his beloved animals before his last breadth midnight on Sunday.

Good to see his last wish fulfilled.

Well done Fardeen!

A star is gone: Feroz dead at 70 Years Of Age

Bollywood star Feroz Khan passed away in his sleep early on Monday morning (27 April, 2009).

The actor was 70, and suffering from cancer. Last week, he was take back home by his children Fardeen and Laila when doctors informed them that there was nothing more that medicine could do.

Feroz Khan was the brother of Sanjay Khan, another star of Bollywood in the 1960s and 1970s. Feroz Khan was one of the industry's most stylish actors and was inspired by the laidback style of Hollywood's cowboy heroes. In the 1970s, he made and starred in Qurbani, a modern movie that broke new ground in the way that it portrayed grey characters. Vinod Khanna also starred in the movie, which made Zeenat Aman, already a huge star, a legend.

In 1962, he starred in the English-language film Tarzan Goes to India opposite Simi Garewal. His first big hit was in 1965 with the release of Oonche Log, followed by a string of memorable appearances.

His last role was in 2007 superhit film Welcome where, ironically, his signature line was: 'I'm not going to die soon'.

Feroz Khan was identified with the character name Rajesh or Rakesh in most of his movies. He was one of the most liberal actors of the industry and a true original.
