Goss: Akki jittery after three flops?

Was it just a few months ago when Akshay Kumar seemed so sure about himself? I am told now that behind that supreme self-confidence, Akki is beginning to get insecure.

Something tells me that it all has to do with three flops in barely four months. A little birdie tells me that Akki has been feeling the jitters after Jumbo, Chandni Chowk to China and Tasveer bombed at the box office. And with the recession kicking in, the offers have generally begun to trickle down too.

So now Akki is trying all ways to reach out to his fans. He has supposedly even started his Facebook community!

What's more, the other day when he was traveling to South Africa, he bumped into Hrithik Roshan at the airport. A friend tells me that the two spent a lot of time together. And the otherwise solo flier Akshay Kumar suggested he and Hrithik come together for a world tour.

Akki supposedly is not particularly confident of pulling off the show by himself. But he seems so keen on making his presence felt, he can go to any extent, after all.
