Thanks to Abhishek Bachchan who otherwise looks like a 'bachcha', the omnipresent stubble is now as much part of his wardrobe as his shirt.

But he isn't alone. There are others who have followed suit. And shirt and stubble too!

So who has the best stubble? Who looks the 'roughest'?

Abhishek Bachchan
After super movies like 'Kuch Na Kaho' and 'Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost', AB Jr figured it was time for an image change. And so came 'Bluffmaster' where the stubble made its appearance.

And it's stayed on ever since. Not growing, not reducing. Rarely will AB Jr be seen without it. We guess he has a special razor that only skims the facial hair. Or maybe he has Pa do it for him..

Sikandar
Watching 'Woodstock Villa' was painful, but Kher (Sikandar) was more painful. He has lips to put most leading ladies to shame. And with so much hair on the head as well, it's quite hair-raising to concentrate on his facial expressions which barely make it past the stubble. Not fun.

Neel Nitin Mukesh
Johnny Gaddar was quite the hit and Neel Nitin Mukesh also discovered that the only way he can look unlike a 'chocolate hero' was with his stubble.

Now that he's going to be doing Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Fashion', it's pretty much a license to have as much of a stubble as he likes. But he can pull it off.

Shiny Ahuja
With a name like 'Shiny', the poor chap needs something to assert that he too is a male actor. In 'Bhool Bhulaiya' where he shrieked like a woman, the only real way of telling it was a man was his stubble. The confusion with Vidya Balan would have been immense otherwise!

Emran Hashmi
Hot-lips is lucky his lips don't grow hair! He could be called one of the pioneers of the stubble along with AB Jr, but when a Bachchan does it, it gets noticed more. Sorry Emran, you're stuck with the Bhatts and Himesh!

Akshay Kumar
The kinng of the Singhs now, Akki has a rather 'perfect' stubble. In fact, it's grown beyond the 'stubble' proportions. And it's too perfect. Did we mention it's eerily perfect? Like someone drew with a permanent marker? It's eerie. But we vote for it as the best. Rocking!

Do we have a consensus? We vote that AB Jr has the best stubble. Others are a me-too. Or did we miss out on someone?

Neil!! They are missing Srk and Hrithik too.

Out of all these pictures, I think the stubble looks best on Shiney Ahuja.

I love the stubble look on guys. Out of the list i think Abi, Neil and Shiney look good!

Out of the list, I would pick Neil. But I must say, Abhi also looks good with a stubble and it suits him.

from THIS list, i'd have to go with Abhishek....it really looked good on him FOR A WHILE, and then he just started looking like a jungli.......everything else just went downhill from then on...
