| The first promo of Anjaan despite being just 30-second in duration is still concise but at the same time precise. The trailer, in a way, is a like a plotline that a script writer pens while starting the screenplay. It talks about the three lead characters of the movie and also simultaneously gives a gist of what the story would be about. Here is what the trailer says as it introduces the three prime characters of the movie… A husband (Vipul Gupta) His films … did not work A wife (Mahek Chahel) Her marriage… did not work A stranger (Aamir Ali) His car… did not work An interesting introduction!
Who is this dangerously charming stranger? Anjaan, innovatively claims to be a 'marital thriller'… Anjaan is directed by Hansal Mehta who earlier directed the underworld crime thriller Chhal and the sex-comedy Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai. Aamir Ali who was introduced in Mehta's Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai is playing the title role of a stranger in the film. Mahek Chahel who debuted with Nayee Padosan but is more known for her popular item number 'Sajna Ve Sajna' from Chameli plays the female lead. The film has music by Viju Shah and Vikesh Mehta. |
