Shahid's One Shot Song

MUMBAI: Shahid Kapur started his career as a dancer in Shiamak Davar's troupe. And since his debut, the actor has essayed a variety of roles, but none that could test his dancing skills. In Ken Ghosh's yet untitled film (which has been called Star or Yahoo by some), Shahid gets to dance his heart out as his character is based on a dancer.

Choreographing him in this film is his good old buddy, Ahmad Khan. For one particular song, Ahmad decided to shoot the song without any cuts.

Describing the song, Ghosh said, "The song was for two and a half minutes. We rehearsed from 9 am to 7 pm and started shooting by 8 pm. The first take was brilliant. Seeing that shot, both actor and choreographer got so excited that they decided to do a retake. Till 10 pm, they tried out, but nothing could match the first take and so after eight attempts, both agreed that the first take was the best."

Two songs are yet to be picturised for this film. The director has confirmed that the April schedule will cover this shooting and prepare it for a release soon.
