Babita was Babita Shivdasani before marrying Randhir Kapoor. She comes from a wealthy Sindhi family. Don't know if her Mom was christian... but Kareena Kapoor wearing a cross does not mean anyone in her family is Christian. Its a trend. My daughter has a cross shaped pendant and I am not Christian.

^^^^^^^she has said on numerous occasions that she considers herself Christian and Hindu because Her mother is Christian. They have always celebrated Christmas and so on....but i think the necklace shes wearing is a cross inspired necklace, but not exactly a cross
